This site requires flash
The Aerials Foundation believes that everyone should be able to access its website regardless of any impairments or technical constraints.
Some of the measures we have taken to ensure that this website is accessible are detailed briefly below:
Where possible we have used text instead of images on this website. Navigation, page titles, subtitles, links and other elements have all been created using accessible html text.
This site has been created using relative text sizes. You are able to change the text sizes using your browser's text size option located in the view options.
Flash and audio have all been included on this website. Due to the nature of this site many of these elements constitute key content, such as winners and runners up. Every effort has been made to make these elements accessible. Should you require transcripts for the audio files please contact us at adwards@aerialsfoundation.co.uk.
No information is conveyed through colour alone. Links are consistently Blue in colour throughout the site, but are marked out with an orange background and an overline when rolled over.
All links to other websites will open in the same window. If any other links open in a new or popup window, adequate warning will be provided.
Some browsers can extract the list of links on a page and allow the user to browse the list separately. For this reason, wherever possible, links are written to make sense out of context.
All content images include descriptive ALT text attributes.
All the flash in this document can be accessed using the 'a' key. The drop-down menu can be activated using the 'up' and 'down' arrows on the keyboard to scroll through the options. Use tab to work through the information and press 'enter' to open the audio when the audio button is highlighted. All audio launches in a new window.
